The IAW Carbon Roof Antenna Cover is a dry carbon fiber replacement shell for the factory shark fin on the BMW G90 M5 sedan and G99 M5 Touring. It is the least expensive carbon part on the car and one of the most visible from behind, and it is the detail that finishes a roofline already running a carbon spoiler.

Dry Carbon Fiber Construction

Every piece is produced from genuine pre-preg dry carbon fiber and cured under controlled heat and pressure. Compared to wet-layup carbon or carbon overlays, pre-preg construction delivers a tighter and more consistent twill weave, a superior strength-to-weight ratio, and a part that holds its shape under heat and daily road use. The surface is sealed in a UV-stable gloss clear coat so the weave stays deep and dark rather than yellowing or hazing within the first couple of seasons, which is a common failure point on lower-cost imported carbon fiber body kits.

Installation

The carbon cover replaces the painted factory shell over the existing antenna base. No cutting, drilling, or permanent modification is required, and antenna and GPS function are unaffected.

This is a straightforward job for most owners, though care is needed around the roof paint. If you would rather not risk it, any competent shop can fit it in minutes.
