The IAW Carbon MP Style Front Bumper Center Trim replaces the factory lower center section of the G90 M5 front bumper with dry carbon fiber. It is the piece most people overlook and the one that makes a carbon front end look deliberate rather than bolted together, carrying the weave across the full width of the bumper opening instead of stopping at the lip. The MP Style profile stays close to the factory contour for a clean OEM-plus finish, and it is the natural companion to our MP Style front lip and side skirts.

Dry Carbon Fiber Construction

Every piece is produced from genuine pre-preg dry carbon fiber and cured under controlled heat and pressure. Compared to wet-layup carbon or carbon overlays, pre-preg construction delivers a tighter and more consistent twill weave, a superior strength-to-weight ratio, and a part that holds its shape under heat and daily road use. The surface is sealed in a UV-stable gloss clear coat so the weave stays deep and dark rather than yellowing or hazing within the first couple of seasons, which is a common failure point on lower-cost imported carbon fiber body kits.

Installation

The piece is molded around the factory G90 bodywork and locates on existing mounting points. No cutting, drilling, or permanent modification is required, and it can be removed later if the vehicle is returned to stock.

Installation is straightforward for an experienced installer, but carbon fiber is unforgiving of a rushed job. We recommend professional installation, and we always recommend test-fitting the panel and cleaning the mounting surface thoroughly before removing any adhesive backing.

The MP Style follows the factory contour closely for a subtle OEM-plus look. The Competition Style carries a more aggressive profile to match the Competition front lip and side skirts. Both mount the same way and fit the same cars.

Does this replace the factory piece or go over it?
It replaces the factory center trim section using the original mounting locations, so there is no added thickness or double-layer look.

Is this real carbon fiber or a carbon overlay?
This is genuine pre-preg dry carbon fiber throughout, not a plastic part with a carbon overlay or hydro-dipped finish.

Will the carbon fiber turn yellow over time?
The UV-stable clear coat is there specifically to prevent that. Wet-layup carbon and overlays commonly yellow within one to two years; pre-preg carbon under a proper clear coat does not.
