Dry (Pre-preg) Carbon Fiber

Dry carbon, also known as pre-preg carbon, is a manufacturing process for carbon fiber that involves infusing solid resin into carbon fiber sheets before curing them in an autoclave. The sheets remain “dry” throughout the process, which is where the term “dry carbon” comes from. The appearance can still be glossy when final product is completed from the addition of automotive grade clearcoat.
