BMW/Toyota DME BENCH UNLOCK SERVICE S55, N20, N26, N55, B48, B46, B58, S58, F Series, And G Series, Supra

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Prior to shipping your DME, it is crucial to complete our verification process to ensure that we are able to unlock it. We kindly request that you undergo this process BEFORE removing your DME for shipment, as we will not unlock any DMEs without prior completion of the verification process. Please note that only DMEs manufactured before 6/2020 are eligible for unlocking.

NOTE: For the V8 motors, such as the N63 or S63, it is essential to send both DMEs for a complete unlock. If only one DME out of the two is submitted, our system may indicate a successful unlock, but the process will not be fully effective as you will still have one DME remaining locked. Therefore, to ensure a successful unlock, please remember to send both DMEs.

As many of you are aware, BMW (and Toyota, for the Supra owners) has started adding additional software to the cars, that prevent flash tuning by OBD2. With this service, you now have the ability to mail your DME into Infinite Autowerks for a Bench Unlock, to use any tuning platform.

Shipping Transit Information:

After purchasing, you will receive instructions on where to send your DME into for service. Once received, the DME will be bench unlocked and re-shipped within one business day and many times the same business day we receive. Infinite Autowerks will cover the cost of return shipping and it will be sent out with UPS 2-Day Air shipping or UPS Ground 1-day if you are physically near our location. Please refer to below shipping map. If you are within the yellow or dark orange region, we will ship using UPS Ground and you will receive the DME back in 1 (yellow) or 2 (dark orange) business days depending on your location. If you are in the green, red, lighter orange, or gray sections, we will ship using UPS Air 2-Day service included in the cost of the unlock. If you are in the 2-Day region and would like to upgrade to UPS Next Day Air service, you can select when ordering the product. If you ship to Infinite Autowerks using a 1 Day service from your locations, you will not have your DME for a total of 2-4 business days depending on levels of service you choose and your location to our IAW warehouse in Michigan.

For Local Customers Only:

If you wish to have your DME unlocked locally, we can schedule a time to do so. There is an additional fee for this service as we must schedule a special time with you to perform the unlock vs work it in with our normal shipping process. This can be done same day if we set it up early enough. Please choose the local unlock option when adding to cart and reach out via email or phone to set up a time to bring your DME in for unlock. Please note this service does not include removing the DME from the vehicle. You must bring the DME only to us ready to go for unlock. If you need help removing DME this can be discussed on the phone and additional cost varies depending on the vehicle.

Additional Information:

This service is for 1 bench unlock and does not include any tuning license or files. Please be aware that Infinite Autowerks cannot be held accountable for DMEs that arrive in a non-functional state or sustain damage during the shipping process. The responsibility for shipping the DME to Infinite Autowerks lies with the customer, while the cost of the DME unlock service includes the return shipping. It is important to note that if a dealer performs a software update on the vehicle, there is a possibility that they may re-lock the DME, either in person or remotely, requiring the need for another round of unlocking. This service specifically covers the unlocking of one DME through bench coding. In the event that the dealer re-locks the DME, an additional DME unlock service must be purchased. Furthermore, it is crucial to understand that the mentioned cost does not include any labor charges incurred by Infinite Autowerks for the removal or reinstallation of the DME, as the entire procedure is conducted exclusively through mail-in service and we do not provide on-site assistance for this purpose.

Please be aware that our operational hours do not include weekends. If your package is delivered to us after business hours on Friday or at any time during the weekend, please note that the unlocking process and return shipment will not take place until the following Monday.
