BMW G2X G8X Pre-LCI 330i M340i M3 M4 Front Storage Compartment Ambient Lighting

Complete the ambient lighting system in your G2x or G8x Pre-LCI series vehicle. BMW did not add the ambient lighting anywhere to the center console and especially annoyingly, decided to use a bright white light for the front storage (or optionally equipped wireless charging) area in Pre-LCI vehicles. This disrupts the mood of the cabin by blinding us with ugly white light instead of seamlessly integrating with the OEM ambient light system. Simply plug into the existing factory wiring harness and your ambient interior lighting is complete with easy auto programming to initialize.

**PLEASE READ (OEM LED Drivers) ** We use OEM BMW LED drivers in this kit. With these OEM drivers, you get the benefit of BMW genuine LED drivers to perfectly match the existing ambient light color and brightness. When adding ambient lights to modern vehicles, sometimes readdressing of the LED is necessary. This process can be done at a BMW dealer, or can be done at home using ISTA+ software. This software process is needed otherwise LED drivers may not turn on. After installation, if the LED are not working, they are not broken, they just need to be activated in software!
