BMW G2X G4X G8X 330i M340i 230i M240i M2 M3 M4 Cupholder Ambient Lighting

Complete the ambient lighting system in your G2x, G4x, or G8x series vehicle.  Adding ambient lighting to your cupholder is a seamless addition. For some reason, BMW did not add the ambient lighting anywhere to the center console but this OE style kit is a great solution. This plug and play solution plugs into your footwell lighting harness with no required programming** see below note on OEM LEDs. Simply plug into the existing factory wiring harness and your ambient interior lighting is complete!

**PLEASE READ (OEM LED Drivers and G42/G87 Applications) ** We use OEM BMW LED drivers in this kit. With these OEM drivers, you get the benefit of BMW genuine LED drivers to perfectly match the existing ambient light color and brightness. When adding ambient lights to modern vehicles, sometimes readdressing of the LED is necessary. This process can be done at a BMW dealer, or can be done at home using ISTA+ software. This software process is needed otherwise LED drivers may not turn on. After installation, if the LED are not working, they are not broken, they just need to be activated in software! Only for Left-Hand Drive vehicles with any transmission.

Not tested on right-hand drive vehicles.

Fitment for Pre-LCI and LCI G20, G21, G22, G26, G42, G87, G80, G81, G82. These include vehicles such as the 330i, M340i, 230i, M240i, M2, M3 and M4.
